InfoCat is pleased to announce that we can now offer public sector bodies and not-for-profit organisations access to IBM Planning Analytics (formerly TM1 on Cloud) through the G-Cloud Digital Marketplace.
IBM Planning Analytics is a flexible and complete planning and analytics solution designed for the cloud. It helps Finance teams transform budgeting, reporting and planning processes, driving greater efficiency and delivering the insight needed to optimise operational performance.
Planning Analytics is built on the well-established and very widely used Cognos TM1 platform, and leverages the ground-breaking technology of IBM Watson Analytics, helping users to discover new insights automatically, directly from their data.
G-Cloud is the UK Government initiative that supports public sector bodies in moving to cloud-based IT solutions. Many charities, housing associations and other not-for-profit organisations can also take advantage of G-Cloud.
Procurement through G-Cloud is simple and fast, eliminating the need for full tender and competitive procurement processes. G-Cloud comprises two core elements:
- Framework agreements with pre-qualified suppliers
- A searchable online catalogue of products and services solutions – the "Digital Marketplace"
IBM Planning Analytics on G-Cloud is appropriate for any public sector or not-for-profit body that wishes to improve its budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting and business planning activities. The service delivered through G-Cloud provides a managed, governed, secure environment for all planning, analysis and reporting processes, be they personal, workgroup or enterprise-wide.
